Laco Chronograph Hockenheim
For Accuracy to the Second
Especially in sport, sometimes it comes down to the exact second. Chronographs by Laco have been made for that exact purpose - made with a love for detail the whole way. Hand-crafted by experienced watchmakers on site in our factory in Pforzheim, chronographs stand for sportiness, elegance and technical sophistication. Strong and precise - these are the chronographs by Laco. Despite a variety of information, Laco designers have succeeded in presenting the time very legibly.
Laco chronographs have one thing in common: compelling functionality. They are characterised by the excellent legibility and undoubted robustness of an aviator watch - in combination with additional functions, for example, the possibility of stopping. Thereby the large central seconds hand counts the seconds of the stopwatch - and the small seconds hand at 9 counts the continued seconds. The additional button next to the crown provides convenient operation of additional functions.
Pure technology: a chronograph like the Hockenheim by Laco leaves almost nothing to be desired. Day and date display, minute and hour counters and a stop second hand coated with luminous SuperLuminova C3, and a separate, decentralised second hand: this watch naturally possesses the typical Laco features such as a curved and double-reflective sapphire crystal and 5 ATM water resistance.
The shown model is perfect for leisure racers, who can use the tachymeter on the bezel to determine their average speed. Tachymeters serve as practical support for the correct determination of speeds at cars, ships and other means of transport and are universally applicable regardless of modern measuring systems.
Laco Uhrenmanufaktur was founded in 1925 in the idyllic town of Pforzheim, Black Forest.
Laco became well-known, thanks to the Fliegeruhren and was one of five companies to produce chronometers for the German military.
Laco has since become inextricably linked to pilot watches. Laco’s focus now is based on a return to its roots: producing handmade watches with a strong emphasis on quality – and not quantity – to honour the “Made in Germany” tag.
A Laco is more than a watch. It is an expression of character. Because no matter whether you wear a robust aviator watch, a precise chronograph or a timelessly elegant classic on your wrist, each Laco has a unique character, which is distinguished by the love of detail and passion with which Laco's watchmakers built it, with complex and sophisticated craftsmanship.
